Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about house clearance in Bude.
How much does a clearance cost?
Prices vary depending on the volume and type of items. We provide a fixed-price quote before any work begins. Single items can start from £15, while full house clearances range from a few hundred pounds.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are fully licensed waste carriers registered with the Environment Agency. We also carry comprehensive public liability insurance.
How quickly can you clear a property?
We can often clear a property within 24-48 hours of booking. For emergency clearances, we can sometimes be on-site within a few hours.
Do you provide a waste transfer note?
Yes. We issue a waste transfer note for every clearance. This is your legal protection and proof that your waste has been legally disposed of.
What happens to the items you remove?
We donate usable items to local charities, recycle as much as possible, and dispose of the remainder at licensed waste facilities. We aim to recycle or donate over 90% of everything we collect.
Do I need to be present during the clearance?
Not necessarily. We can work with a key holder or with your permission to access the property. Many customers choose not to be present.
Can I get a quote over the phone?
What areas do you cover?
We cover Bude, Stratton, Poughill, Marhamchurch, Kilkhampton, Morwenstow, Week St Mary, Whitstone, and all surrounding North Cornwall villages.
